Well, as I'm going to school 20 hours away by car, I have three choices, really. Train, plane or car. Well, train's out because I'm not spending so many hours in a train and dealing with connections and hauling half my house with me (yes I'm the type of girl who tries to bring the house with them). Plane's out because I'm not gonna pay for the plane ticket and the shipping of my luggage since there's so much of it. So, onto the least of three evils: Car.
Now, I can deal with cars if it's a short distance. However, 20 hours is not short. Thank god my parents don't enjoy driving 20 hours straight or I'd be one miserable child. Or they'd have to sedate me. What makes it worse is the fact that the whole car is absolutely piled with luggage and stuff that I think would be useful to living anywhere (which, probably, it isn't). I can't do anything to keep my mind of of cars... Except sleep. And even that is foiled if your father enjoys listening to screechy old radio dramas that would wake the dead. Not that I have any waking problem with them, it's just a pain to try to sleep through.
But I've made it 15 hours. about 5 more to go. I can do 5. And my reward will be romping around the city until tomorrow - Friday, when I have to report to school.
